WAY too often do I hear “I can’t eat”: “fruits because they have too many sugars” “most vegetables because they have carbs” “nuts and seeds because they’re fatty” “eggs because they’re high in cholesterol” “oats or rice because “it’s carbs”…😅
ALL of these foods are natural, unprocessed, high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, nutrients, etc. and should be STAPLES in your healthy dietğŸŽğŸ“ğŸ¥šğŸŒ½ğŸ¥œ
Believe me, I’ve been there. I wouldn’t eat fruit because of the sugar, or any of the other foods that I previously listed. But I was also had very distorted eating and had yet to truly EDUCATE myself about nutrition.
Just put it into perspective, are you really going to sacrifice a fiber packed, vitamin, and nutrient dense apple, for example, because of the “carbs?”
There’s NO need to second guess whole, nutrient dense food. Fuel your body with what it needs and you’ll look and feel better than ever! (Btw this is tuna, apple slices, black beans, egg, everything bagel seasoning over spinach🔥)
